This Lutheran Church in Greene County, Tennessee was founded in 1811 and one of its buildings served as a field hospital in the Civil War. Legend says that a mass grave was dug in front of the church to bury the dead.
This abandoned brick house is believed to have been constructed in 1790 for one of the earliest settlers in this part of Tennessee.
